Maintaining School Uniform

• 1. Use cold water and a gentle wash cycle to keep jumpers, skirts, and slacks from fading and looking worn. Try subtle detergents to get these garments their cleanest in low water temperatures Pour it directly on stains for better removal results
• 2. Tumble dry uniforms on low heat for the shortest time necessary to prevent over-drying and shrinkage. It's a good idea to remove them from the dryer while slightly damp to minimize wrinkles and make ironing easier, too.
• 3. Wash sweaters (especially those with sewn-on patches) inside out and invest in a fabric pill remover. It removes pesky sweater pills more quickly and is super easy to use and store.
4. Consider spraying jackets, ties, and other hard-to-clean garments with a fabric protector, to help repel spills and prevent stains
